About Our Past Projects
fORGET-mE-nOT-productions have recently worked in partnership with pupils from Abercynon Primary School to bring you the junior version of Disney’s ‘The Lion King’. Pupils had just half a term to learn the choreography, dialogue and complex songs – most of which were in Zulu, as well as designing the colourful set. This the school’s first full-scale performance and they did a fantastic job.
Last Christmas, fORGET-mE-nOT-productions worked with pupils Ysgol Hen Felin special school to adapt and develop their Christmas concert – ‘Grease is the Word’. It was a multilingual production that provided a multitude of opportunities for high quality arts experiences. It was developed through a series of intensive auditions, workshops, rehearsals & extensive research. It seamlessly encompassed participants and the wider school community in the creation of multimedia clips, musical theatre performances & dance choreography. A DVD of the event is available for purchase and can be used as an awareness raising tool together with a report with practical recommendations for inclusive arts practice within SEN.
This project was made possible by funding from the Arts Council of Wales, the Big Lottery and the Welsh Government.
